2025 Annual Report

Founded in 2013, our association set out with the primary goal of informing the public about refugee rights. From our founding years, when there were no adequate regulations concerning foreigners, to the present day, we have carried out rights-based work for refugees.

As an association, we also make intensive efforts in other areas, above all to protect the right to asylum and, in particular, to prevent refugees who have sought refuge in Türkiye from being sent to death or torture. Together with our volunteers, who include lawyers and people from many other fields, we work to resolve the problems encountered in practice and we report on them.

Today, as UMHD, we continue working across every platform to raise awareness of refugee issues. To support refugees in their struggle to live with human dignity under the blue sky, we carry on our work on the importance of human rights under our slogans “One Human, One World” and “Reach Out to a Refugee.”
