In order to present migration-related debates to political decision-makers and Turkish society free from distorted information, we prepare informative analyses, policy notes, and reports by discussing the national and international migration agenda at academic and semi-academic levels.
With those working or wanting to work academically in the field of migration and refugee studies, especially undergraduate, master’s, doctoral students, or practicing professional experts, we aim to identify current problems, follow legal and social developments, and encourage thesis, article, and book writing related to these issues. Through information and awareness-raising, we seek to lead the academic development of migration and refugee studies.
We produce projects that contribute to the education rights that refugees living in Türkiye and abroad could not attain. With volunteer teachers, trainers, academics, and psychologists, we conduct educational activities aimed at implementing social, economic, and political integration policies of refugees.
For foreigners who, due to their race, religion, membership of a particular social group, or political opinion, have a well-founded fear of persecution and are outside their country of nationality, we provide legal assistance and consultancy to resolve their legal problems in accordance with the principles of the association.
We aim for refugees to live on their own feet and lead a life worthy of human dignity. For this purpose, we carry out food aid, cross-border festivals in war zones, book discussions, road and war stories, regional talks, workshops, and language courses.
On issues such as the rights of refugees, application mechanisms and methods, what should be done in emergencies, and institutions that can be reached, we produce informative publications with interpreters, copywriters, graphic designers, social media specialists, editors, cameramen, and reporters through both visual content and press conferences.
