"Guidance to Justice: Essential Information Guide for Relatives of Foreign Prisoners", prepared under the project "Guide to Access to Justice: Legal Information and Support for Families of Foreign Prisoners" executed by the International Refugee Rights Association (UMHD) in cooperation with Penal Reform International (PRI) and funded by the European Union, has been published.
Encountered Challenges
Relatives of foreign nationals in penal execution institutions in Türkiye may encounter various difficulties in accessing information regarding the execution process due to language barriers, insufficient knowledge of relevant procedures, and challenges in reaching accurate information sources.
Objective of the Guide
Prepared in response to these needs, the guide aims to contribute to foreign prisoners' relatives accessing the information they need in a simpler, clearer, and more understandable manner.
