Report Abuse or Misconduct
This page is intended to contact the Investigation Department in cases of possible abuse and/or misuse of duties by individuals or entities in a contractual relationship with IRRA (staff, volunteers, partner organizations, etc.).
Before submitting a complaint, please note
- The Investigation Department is not an emergency service. Do not use this form to report incidents posing an immediate threat to life or property. If you need urgent assistance, please contact the local authorities.
- The Investigation Department does not handle protection/assistance requests that are unrelated to abuse committed by persons affiliated with IRRA.
- All information, including that submitted via this form, is treated with confidentiality. Your personal contact details will not be used, sold or shared with third parties.
- Do not approach third parties to file a complaint without the Investigation Department’s approval; this may jeopardize the integrity of the investigation and individuals’ privacy.
When can you submit a complaint?
- Actions and conduct of persons affiliated with IRRA towards beneficiaries,
- Actions and conduct of persons affiliated with IRRA towards each other,
- Actions and conduct of persons affiliated with IRRA towards their subordinates.
Types of Abuse or Misconduct
Discrimination or Harassment
Unwanted verbal or physical conduct on the basis of gender, religion, language or ethnicity; unfair and unethical bias against an individual or group due to specific characteristics. Example: Denying access to services due to ethnic origin; unfair dismissal of an employee due to their beliefs.
Abuse or Improper Conduct
Deliberate wrongdoing; actions that directly violate the law or IRRA policies.
Sexual Harassment, Exploitation and Abuse
Physical or verbal sexual harassment, exploitation or abuse committed, experienced or observed in IRRA’s programmes or offices, by persons affiliated with IRRA towards beneficiaries or by/among persons within IRRA.
Policy Violation
Actions that directly violate IRRA policies or rules.
